A foggy night view of the water and a port town.

Whiskey River Caravan Park

History:

Though there is no Whiskey River, there is a creek behind the place, and it’s rumored this place was a hotbed of vice during the prohibition. Some names stick forever. Historically, this place is a great place to get lost or lose things. Nobody’s saying Old Man Jackson is a fence, but…

This is a pretty tight community, and though they’re perhaps a bit slow to welcome newcomers, eventually they take pride in those things which they cannot change, accepting them as their own. There’s an occasional lost tourist who pulls in here searching for the drive-in they’ve already passed down the road.

Conveniences:

This living park caters to long and short-term lot rentals. Most of the trailers in the long-term residency have seen better days though they have been continuously repaired lovingly. The area is well lived in but it is home for some

In the short-term rentals that are popular on-season campers, RVs, and other vehicles that are looking for a temporary place to park for a while. There are hookups for water and electricity for the vehicles there.

There are two wide circular areas that are set aside for tent campers with fire pits in the center and a couple of public grills and picnic tables situated in between available to all residents to make use of.
