The Doll Factory
The interior of the building makes heavy use of reclaimed materials with a strong vintage vibe. There’s lots of reclaimed wood floors, exposed brick, copper fittings, bits and pieces from the original factory, and all the modern amenities that one could ask for. There’s a small lounge area with a couple of mis-matched vintage green and blue velvet couches to sit on around a low blonde wood coffee table. A cork board hangs there for notices.
By the elevator is a bank of mailboxes with brass plates. Each is labeled with an apartment number and a last name. An elevator stands in the center of the lobby and there are also stairwells located at the ends of the halls. Fairy lights have been strung up in some of the common areas, perhaps for some past celebration, and never taken down again.
Several single or two bedroom units have been carved out of this old factory building. The basement has several washer and dryer units from the days it used to mass produce things.
