The Brew

A homey little witch-themed cafe serving mostly coffee, tea, cookies, pastry, and small plates of simple hot or cold sandwiches. The warm, spicy scented interior of The Brew coffee shop is done in pale white & grey with dark, glossy counters, and exposed brick walls painted white. The mixed textures or hanging plants and antique copper bakeware lend a homey feel to the shop. Hammered, warm copper lanterns, stars, besoms, cauldrons, and moons are suspended from the ceiling, with pops of greenery to soften it up a bit, subtle burnished copper fixtures, and handwritten chalkboard signs to give it a trendy edge. Each to-go cup is printed with a simple rhyming prosperity, wellness, or blessing spell on it.

Along the back wall is a wooden sideboard carrying a variety of add-ins and custom mixes for those who prefer a latte with specific flavorings and varieties of cream, nut & oat milks. There’s a shelf of take-one-leave-one for books on nature, local lore, cultures with witches, and zines on green witchery.

Tables are scattered around the interior, with comfortable, locally made wood chairs of hand-hewn wood. A variety of coloring books, travel chess boards, trivia games, card games, and coloring books with pencils and crayons are tucked into some wood-crate shelving against one wall.
