Up a long gravel road, just about a quarter mile up from a small caravan park, sits a wide clearing in the trees backed by a large, wide white-paneled screen. The paint’s refreshed every summer season, and this little drive-in is kept meticulously cleared of trash and weeds.

After dark, several times a week, double features play for the low price of $5 per person or $15 per car. You can tune in to a special station on the radio for the audio, and park in any of five rows of twenty spots each. The lanes are wide and there are rarely any parking accidents.

A concession stand in the back is painted red and white, and the selection is varied, from all-beef hot dogs to popcorn, soft pretzels, funnel cakes, and candy. Slushies are popular in a variety of flavors, and the drive through serves seasonal specials like iced pumpkin cookies leading up through the fall. Closed only if the weather drops below 55 degrees, this place is open for a good portion of the season.
